Kenya al shabaab fighting
The Kenyan military is continuing its offensive against al shabaab deep inside Somalia
The military and its allies in the country continues to advance and attack al-shabaab hideouts. There are no reports of any further casualties. Meanwhile, reports have emerged that two Britons are being held at the volatile border by Kenyan anti-terrorism police. Few details have emerged over the arrests although reports indicate that the pair was arrested while crossing the border into Somalia on Sunday.
